Placemakers is a nationwide supplier of building materials, servicing both trade professionals and retail customers across New Zealand. The Wanaka branch operates in a challenging climate where exposure to weather can negatively impact timber quality and yard performance
Challenge:
- Timber stock being damaged due to ongoing weather exposure
- Limited covered storage within the existing yard footprint
- Need to improve stock protection without building a full new shed

Solution:
Stackit designed a covered IRS racking configuration that integrates with the existing building and extends across the yard. This created a large, protected storage zone while maintaining accessibility and operational flow.
